SCOTTSDALE, Arizona – November 25, 2015 – On Saturday, November 7, Associa Arizona, along with community supporters, gathered at its annual fundraiser to commemorate the late Steve Johnson, former community manager with Associa Arizona. Held at Top Golf at Riverwalk in Scottsdale, the Steve Johnson Memorial Fundraiser brought together family, friends, and business partners to honor the man who was the driving force to establish a fundraiser for the Associa Cares charity.
This year the memorial raised more than $20,000 with proceeds benefiting Associa Cares, a non-profit organization created to assist families and communities in crisis as a result of natural or man-made disasters. To date, more than 1.7 million dollars have been donated nation-wide to those in need including recipients in Arizona and the Phoenix area.
“This event shines a light on Steve’s compassionate heart and legacy as a caring servant leader,” says Associa Arizona President Paula Randolph. “The Associa Arizona family is thankful for the generous community sponsorships and donations and it’s always heartwarming to see so many members of the Johnson family who come every year to honor Steve’s spirit of giving.”
