DALLAS, Texas – July 8, 2013 – Associa Cares, the philanthropic arm of Associa, recently donated relief funds to four California families who were in need of assistance following the effects of natural or man-made disasters.
Associa Cares relies on volunteers from national and local committees to help identify people in both Associa and non-Associa managed communities affected by tragedies.
Below is a list of the Associa California branches that helped families in need in their respective areas.
• Stockton, California – Three donations were made possible through M & C Association Management Services, Inc. In Patterson, Calif., a fire completely destroyed two homes, leaving the families displaced. A third family lost their home as the result of an electrical fire.
• Temecula, California – A donation was made possible through Equity Management when a house fire destroyed the entire home and all of the family’s belongings.
“Associa Cares was created to help families affected by tragedy, man-made or natural,” said Senior Vice President Mike Packard. “While we don’t like to learn of instances like this, we are grateful to Associa Cares for appropriating these funds quickly to help our California homeowners in need.”
