Associa Cares Aids Pennsylvania Family

Jun 28, 2012

PLYMOUTH MEETING, Pa. – June 28, 2012 – Associa Cares, the philanthropic arm of Associa, recently donated $1,500 to a Pennsylvania family on behalf of Mid-Atlantic Management Corporation.

Tim Daly and his five-year-old son, Timmy, narrowly escaped a house fire in their home Monday, April 4. Tim’s mother, Kris, who also lives in the New Britain Township home, was at work when the fire took place. Unfortunately, family cats Corey and Rudy died in the fire. The money donated by Associa Cares will go toward rebuilding their home.

“We are glad Associa has the opportunity to help families like the Dalys,” said Mid-Atlantic President and CEO Gail Van Dyke. “While no amount of money can make up for emotional damage a house fire can cause, it can help to repair and rebuild homes.”

Associa Cares relies on volunteers from national and local committees to help identify people in both Associa and non-Associa managed communities affected by tragedies. Mid-Atlantic first notified Associa about the family.

Associa Cares is a national nonprofit 501(c)3 organization created to assist families and communities in crisis as a result of natural and man-made disasters.
