DALLAS, Texas – February 22, 2012 – Associa Cares, the philanthropic arm of Associa, recently donated $2,000 to a Southlake family who lost their home in a tragic fire.
Will and Victoya Rogers’ home burned at 9 a.m. on Christmas morning. Starting in the game room study over the garage, the smoke and water damage from the fire has caused the house to be a complete loss by insurance. Losing their home comes at the end of a difficult year for the Rogers family, who also recently lost loved ones.
“Thanks to fundraising by Associa employees and non employees, we can help families like the Rogers,” said PMG North CEO Mark Southall. “Losing a home is a tragic situation, and we are happy to help Will and Victoya get back on their feet as soon as possible.”
Associa Cares relies on volunteers from national and local committees to help identify people in both Associa and non-Associa managed communities affected by tragedies. Gary Klepperich and PMG North notified Associa about the family and their loss.
