Former Washington Redskin Great Art Monk to Sign Autographs

What: 3rd Annual Vendor Fair Benefiting Associa Cares. The event is presented by Community Management Corporation, Legum & Norman, Inc. and Select Community Services and has raised $222,000 in its first two years. CMC, L&N and SCS have already raised $220,000 this year alone.

Who: Associa Cares is a non-profit organization created to assist people in communities across North America who are in financial crisis through no fault of their own, including victims of natural and man-made disasters.

More than 500 people expected to attend, including C-Level executives and community managers.
100 vendor companies will be in attendance.

Featured Guest: Art Monk
Art Monk, who shows support for various local philanthropic causes, helped found the Good Samaritan Foundation with his Washington teammates Charles Mann, Tim Johnson and Earnest Byner.

Monk played wide receiver for the Washington Redskins from 1980-1994. During Monk’s 14 seasons with the Redskins, the team won three Super Bowls (XVII, XXII, and XXVI) and had only three losing seasons. He was an All-Pro and All-NFC choice in 1984 and 1985. On August 2, 2008, Monk was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame and upon his induction, received the longest standing ovation in Pro Football Hall of Fame history.
