PALM DESERT, CA – October 11, 2016 – Desert Resort Management, an Associa company, proudly makes a $29,000 donation to Associa Cares and two local charities. Coachella Valley’s Animal Samaritans and FIND Food Bank each received $1,000 and $27,000 went toward Associa’s nonprofit organization which assists families across the country in need due to natural and man-made disasters.
The contributions were made possible through funds raised at the Desert Resort Management Associa Cares Superhero Golf Tournament. The event took place at the Palm Valley Country Club in Palm Desert on September 16 and the motto was Become a Hero! Save the day! Help Make a Difference! More than 100 golfers took part in the action which included a round of golf, raffles, contests, and a silent auction all sponsored by the 50 business partners involved in the fundraising efforts.

The superhero theme was brilliant and the event was perfect from start to finish,” said Desert Resort President Mark Dodge. “To be able to give to such worthy charities makes the day even more special.
