LEESBURG, Virginia – October 27, 2015 – Associa companies Community Management Corporation (CMC), Select Community Services (SCS) and Legum & Norman teamed up for its 8th Annual Vendor Fair and raised a record $250,000 for Associa Cares. The event took place on September 28 at The National Conference Center in Leesburg, Virginia.
Super Sponsors BrightView, Brothers Paving & Concrete Corporation and GAM Graphics & Marketing along with about 210 other association management industry vendors representing more than 100 area companies spent the day networking with more than 350 community managers in a “speed dating” format.
“This format allows for high volume interaction because every manager has a short time with each vendor before moving on to the next one,” says CMC/SCS President Nick Mazzarella. “In the eight years we’ve been hosting this event we’ve given more than $1.7 million dollars to Associa Cares that goes directly to residents who have experienced a crisis at home.”
Associa Cares is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization created to assist families and communities in crisis as a result of natural and man-made disasters.
