MT. LAUREL, N.J. – October 9, 2013 – MAMCO Property Management, an Associa company, recently hosted a successful golf event and raised more than $25,000 to benefit Associa Cares.
“Associa Cares has done so much for our community following super-storm Sandy, and we are excited to give back to the organization. We could not have been happier with the turnout, and we expect to grow this event in the years to come,” said Nancy Hastings, MAMCO President and CEO.
Held at Scotland Run Golf Club in Williamstown, NJ, September 25, the event raised just over $25,000 for Associa Cares. Presenting sponsors, J&S Lawnman and MAMCO, welcomed 111 golfers and more than 150 total people at the event. Participants also were treated to dinner and could participate in a Chinese auction.
This year’s outing surpassed both the money raised and the total number of participants from the inaugural event in 2012. MAMCO has raised more than $35,000 for Associa Cares during the two golf outings.
Associa Cares is a national nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization created to assist families and communities in crisis as a result of natural and man-made disasters. Through donations provided at fundraising events across the country, Associa Cares is able to provide necessary goods and services to the families affected by these types of tragedies.
