Funds to Assist Families with Rebuilding Expenses

CHANTILLY, Va. – November 5, 2010 – Community Management Corporation, an Associa company, with the help of Associa Cares, recently donated more than $10,000 to families in the Chantilly area who were affected by disasters.

Two separate condos in the Parkfairfax Condominium Association were damaged when trees fell on and into the units. CMC was able to provide $1,000 to each owner to help with repair costs.

In the Clusters at Woodlawn, an additional $1,000 was given to a unit owner who had a pipe burst causing water damage.

A recent gas fire caused significant damage to board member’s home and the neighboring home in the Saybrook Homeowners Association. CMC helped provide $1,500 to each homeowner.

Additionally, a fire destroyed three single family homes in the Sumner Homeowners Association and each family received a $1,500 contribution from CMC and Associa Cares.

“It was such a pleasure to help all of these families, and we are glad they are all safe,” said Heather Graham President and CEO of CMC. “The individuals involved are truly deserving of the help, and I am glad Associa Cares was able to arrange for the donation quickly and in their time of need.”
