Funds to Assist with Rebuilding Process
ALEXANDRIA, Va. – February 3, 2011 – Legum & Norman, an Associa company, with the help of Associa Cares, recently donated $1,000 to homeowners in the Westridge Swim and Racquet Club, who lost their investment home in a fire.
The investment property located in Lorton, Virginia, was severely damaged when a candle left burning by the tenants caused a fire in the home. The couple suffered a total loss of their investment property.
Associa Cares also donated $1,000 to the fund set up for the children who survived the fire.
“While we were deeply saddened to hear about this tragedy, we are pleased that we have the resources available to help those in need,” said Susan Blackburn, President and CEO of Legum & Norman. “These families are truly deserving of the help. I greatly appreciate that Associa Cares was able to quickly and efficiently assess the requests for relief and provide the distributions.”
