Funds to Assist with Rebuilding Expenses

PLYMOUTH MEETING, Pa. – January 13, 2011 – Mid-Atlantic Management Corporation, an Associa company, with the help of Associa Cares, recently donated $1,000 each to local families who lost their homes due to fire damage on Christmas Day.

The fire took place in the condominium community of Spruce Mill in Lower Makefield when stored fireplace ashes that were believed to be extinguished, and weren’t, were placed on a balcony. The ashes caused damage to three condos in the eight-unit building. Thanks to Associa Cares, the families are able to begin the rebuilding process sooner than each had expected.

“We were sad to hear of this accident, but it was wonderful being able to help these families during the holidays,” said Gail Van Dyke, President of MAMC. “They are truly deserving of the help, and I am glad Associa Cares was able to quickly arrange for this much needed aid and assistance.”

Associa Cares is a national nonprofit 501(c)3 organization created to assist families and communities in crisis as a result of natural and manmade disasters.
