Palm Desert, CA – October 30, 2018 – Associa Desert Resort Management hosted its annual golf tournament to raise money for Associa’s national non-profit organization, Associa Cares, and local charity, Animal Samaritans. The event was held at the Palm Valley Country Club in Palm Desert, CA.
The Star Wars themed “May the Course Be with You” tournament hosted 128 golfers and raised more than $37,000 for Associa Cares, which helps families and communities that have been impacted by natural and man-made disasters. In addition to Associa Cares, donations were also collected for Animal Samaritans, an animal rescue. Participants included business partners, community association managers, and board members of Associa managed communities.
“Desert Resort Management would like to thank all of the golfers, participants, and local businesses that made donations and volunteered their time and services. This event raised more money than ever before and it was all due to the hard work of our employees and volunteers,” stated Mark Dodge, Associa Desert Resort Management president. “It is an honor each year to host this event and help raise much needed funds for these incredible organizations.”
Several local businesses donated prizes and services for the event and Pro Landscaping, Inc. was the title sponsor. The day’s activities included raffles, a silent auction, contests, and a hole-in-one car prize which was provided by Fiesta Ford.
