COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – July 15, 2013 – Associa Cares, the philanthropic arm of Associa, recently donated assistance to the Care and Share Food Bank of Southern Colorado to help local families affected by the Black Forest Fire. The organization made the donation on behalf of Colorado Association Services, an Associa company.
“As soon as we learned of the affects from these events, we took steps to try to help those in need,” said Joey Carona, president of Associa Cares. “Associa Cares wants to help area families resume life and return to normalcy as quickly as possible.”
The Associa Cares disaster response program is designed to provide timely and prompt response to individuals in need, regardless of whether they live in an Associa-managed community. Associa Cares is accepting applications for financial assistance from homeowners.
