CARMEL, Ind. – August 28, 2012 –Associa Cares, the philanthropic arm of Associa, donated to a local Indianapolis family displaced after a house fire. Community Association Services of Indiana (CASI), an Associa company, informed Associa Cares of the family’s loss and nominated the family for financial assistance.
Saturday, June 30, a fire swept through the family’s apartment building in Indianapolis. The family lost everything in the fire, and has been displaced as a result. Thankfully, no one was home at the time so no injuries were reported.
“Associa Cares was created to help families who’ve lost their way after natural and man-made disasters destroy their belongings and homes,” said CASI President and CEO Matt Englert. “We are happy to donate to the family so they can return to normalcy that much sooner.
Associa Cares relies on volunteers from national and local committees to help identify people in both Associa and non-Associa managed communities affected by tragedies.
