PALM DESERT, California – November 10, 2015 – Desert Resort Management, an Associa company, recently hosted its 2nd Annual Golf Tournament to raise money for its charity Associa Cares, the philanthropic arm of Associa.
Held on September 18 at Palm Valley Country Club, this year’s golf tournament theme was ‘Rockin’ Golf’. With help from the generous sponsorships provided by 69 vendors and the participation of 128 players, the event raised close to $30,000.
“We believe in giving back to the community we serve and are thankful for the support provided by our staff, clients, and vendors in making our golf tournament a success” said Desert Resort Management President Mark Dodge.
Associa Cares relies on volunteers from national and local committees to help identify families in both Associa and non-Associa managed communities affected by tragedies. Local charities benefitting from a portion of the proceeds included Shelter from the Storm and Animal Samaritans.
