Associa Manager Helps Hometown Fire Victims with Charitable Donation

Feb 9, 2017

COAL TOWNSHIP, PA – February 9, 2016 – Quinn Odorizzi works as an association manager for Community Management Corporation (CMC), an Associa company out of Chantilly, Virginia, and she recently visited two families from her hometown of Coal Township, Pennsylvania to help them out after they lost their homes in a fire.

She hand delivered a check for $1000 to Steve Gallie and one for $2500 to Chadd and Becky Hauer and family, who lived adjacent to one another in a duplex that went up in flames in December.

The relief funds were be provided by Associa Cares, Associa’s nonprofit organization which assists families across the country in need due to incidences such as floods, fires or tornados. Odorizzi applied for the assistance after she heard about the displaced families from town where she grew up.

“I was devastated to hear about the losses these families sustained during a tragic December fire but am thankful to work for a company that focuses on building better communities and has these funds available for just this purpose,” said Odorizzi. “I also wanted to send my heartfelt condolences to the Hauer family on the recent passing of their daughter Ava who had battled Joubert Syndrome since birth.” Donations toward the funeral expenses can be made at: https://www.gofundme.com/ava-hauer-funeral-memorial-fund.

“Quinn’s compassion for others is one of her strongest qualities as part of the Associa family where she interacts with community residents all the time providing unsurpassed customer service,” said Associa CMC Vice President Mac Staples. “We’re proud to have her on our team and of the efforts she made to help get these families back on their feet.”
