BELLINGHAM, Wash. – June 11, 2013 – EMB Management, an Associa company, partnered with Associa Cares, the philanthropic arm of Associa, to donate funds to 12 Bellingham families.
Twelve families were displaced from their home when a building in the Sunset Pond Apartments caught fire on May 6, 2013. The damage was severe and several families lost all of their personal belongings to damage from fire, water and smoke.
“We are always saddened to hear of losses within our community” says Corey P. Recla, President and CEO of EMB Management, Inc. “We are thankful for the opportunity to support these 12 families as they work to reassemble their lives and belongings.”
Those affected by the fire received a combined total of $10,000 from Associa Cares to assist them in replacing belongings lost in the fire.
