RALEIGH, N.C. – December 8, 2011 – HRW, Inc., an Associa company, recently hosted a wine and cheese event to benefit Associa Cares that raised more than $7,000 in donations.
A raffle drawing was conducted between residents, service providers and staff who attended the event. The prizes awarded were valued at more than $3,000. Through annual fundraisers like this one, HRW has been able provide financial assistance to many local families who have been through a crisis.
“We are pleased to have raised more than $7,000 in donations for Associa Cares,” said HRW President and CEO Cathy Wade. “There are so many families in need around the country, and we at HRW are proud to be doing our part in helping them get back on their feet.”
Through the Associa Cares program in North Carolina, HRW is privileged to partner with charities from Fayetteville to Fuquay-Varina, Durham, Cary, Raleigh, Charlotte and even southern Virginia. Recipients of charitable funds through Associa Cares do not have to live in an Associa-managed community.
Associa Cares is a national nonprofit 501(c)3 organization created to assist families and communities in crisis as a result of natural and man-made disasters.
