Plymouth Meeting, Pa. – November 15, 2012 – A local company chose to show their community appreciation in a new way this year. Lemus Construction donated to Associa Cares, the philanthropic arm of Associa, during their customer appreciation luncheon on October 25.
The donation will help the organization provide families with assistance after natural and man-made disasters, such as fires, tornadoes and the recent hurricane that devastated the Mid-Atlantic coast.
“The generous donation from Lemus Construction, and their vendors, will allow Associa Cares to continue helping those in need,” said Gail Van Dyke, president and CEO of Mid-Atlantic Management Corporation. “It is so important for families to return to normalcy as soon as possible after a disaster.”
Associa Cares relies on volunteers from national and local committees to help identify people in both Associa and non-Associa managed communities affected by tragedies.
