DALLAS – December 4, 2012 – Associa Cares, the philanthropic arm of Associa, contributed to the rebuilding of a Houston family’s home after it was destroyed by fire.
The Crider family – Lisa, James and their two children – returned from church one Sunday to find their home engulfed in flames. The home was destroyed leaving only some glasses and dishes salvageable. The family plans to rebuild the home.
“We created Associa Cares for families who need help after life-altering disasters,” said Associa Cares President Joey Carona. “We’re glad we could assist the Crider family, and hope they can return to their normal lives as soon as possible.”
The organization relies on individuals and volunteers from national and local committees to help identify people in both Associa and non-Associa managed communities affected by tragedies. An Associa employee referred the Crider family to Associa Cares.
